Have you looked into any chinese herbal formulas for the kidneys?

Strengthen Kidney replenishes and consolidates Kidney Yin (Essence), invigorates Kidney Yang (Fire), and protects against harm from Dampness and Cold.

We didn't have immediate access to it so we use a capsule formula called Vitality also chinese herbs.

I gave the cat the following:
Transfer Factor stress formula; transfer factor is an excellent form of Colostrum
1/2 a capsule of the chinese herbs
1/2 a capsule of Systemic Formula's Bio Nutrients Kidney formula "K" that has kidney rna/dna in i.t
I would chopped up some chicken pour some hot water on it to create a broth and to soften it, chop it up more, then I would add the herbs and supplements. I would add the transfer factor last because I didn't want the hot water to damage the nutrients.
He did excellent on a mixture of well blended cottage cheese and pure flax seed oil; an excellent medicinal.
