sorry about your problems, but to answer your question, i have always had problems with birth control even before i had kids. the mirena was the worse. you might be like me, my body rejects the hormone. i was put on the birth control last time with the lowest estrogen b/c i was breastfeeding, i was very mean and moody, it caused me to break out, not only on my face, but on my arms and butt too. i got off of it, and my legs started getting really sore, then i noticed these very large lumps popping up all over my calves, i could barely walk b/c i was in so much pain. i went back to see the dr. he had a name for it, though i forget what it was, it was from the birth control. oh i also was depressed some while i was on it. with the mirena iud, so many problems including loss of wanting sex. i honestly don't think it's good for women,it seems as though more people have problems with it, than not having problems.
