Yes - it's happened to me in two situations:

One - I'd eaten too much rice the night before starting the MC.
Two - I was low in magnesium. Magnesium supplements or a detox bath using Epsom Salts (magnesium sulfate) and baking soda is a good way to get toxins out and magnesium into your body without departing from the MC. Also, switching to molasses (on the diabetic part of the Master-Cleanse protocol) might help, as it contains more electrolytes and nutrients than maple syrup. But it will significantly increase your bms!
