Endo cure?

Hi this is my first time on this site. I had a Laparoscopy on Thurs which showed that I had endometriosis. Apparently the surgeon said that it was localised in one place, behind the womb, in front of the bowel. As far as I know he has removed it. I thought that this was the end of it, but after reading around, is does not seem to ever go away. Is this right? Is it something that will reoccure?

I had the lap because the pain during my periods was beyond words...is there a chance that this will be reduced now?

Also I've got three cuts, and my stomach is huge? It's been almost 5 days since the op and the gas is causing me SO much pain! Is this normal?

How serious is this?
