Re: Blind Men And A Elephant

God does not leave us like different blind mem feeling an elephant and each reaching their own unique but differnt conclusions on what they were feeling No God reaches down to us and gives us just a minute peek at his awsome self in a way we can understand if we would just listen to his voice. I agree with you that religion has cut us off God by them partaking in a one way monologue (prayer) with God, saying in prayer etc etc we want this, that ,what should I do about this? that? etc etc and immediately get, up not giving God the remotest chance of answering them by being still and listening for his voice. We should attempt to have a dialogue with God, not a monolgue. I have tried it it works, one must just be patient and wait for that inner vioce in ones mind. This is what the mystics try to do and sometime succeed
