Re: Notes on Flukes
I'm chuckling, because I'm now alot more aware of possible ways of infections, and when the grandkids have been outside riding their horses all day, braiding their tails, and are playing with their cow dog pups--and then come in and want something to eat- they are sent to wash their hands- WITH soap. But, I think GRANDPA is harder to train than the grandkids! The Grandkids are now playing watch-dog on grandpa, and when he is making his raw juices, they are asking him if he's washed the veggies..and they are asking him if he's washed his hands...with soap!
We have a "mud room"- where the boots/shoes get kicked off- we own a ranch, so there's usually manure on them. That's also where my washer/dryer are..and like my husband said "maybe you should wear shoes, and not go barefoot out there!" Good point.
Does anyone else now wonder what may be lurking in motel rooms that other people have been in? Especially knowing the bedspreads/blankets aren't washed/changed every time! I wouldn't call it "paranoia"..but I definetly am much more AWARE!
