ok smarty pants, how does one get "on the verge of eliminating polio" or any disease for that matter? the only way i know is to call it something else.

initiatives in europe during that time were started but never mandatory. the result was more than half of the eligible population did not get the vaccine and 100% of those did not get polio. whoda thunk? ironically, a small portion of the remaining percentage that took part in your beloved "initiatives", fell prey to the affliction. my goodness, how could that be???

u need to do some deeper reading into the factual statistics (which are neutral) and make up your own mind rather than relying on the mainstream reports which are spoon fed assumptions. even the cdc begrudgingly has this buried on their web site: "the last documented indigenous transmission of wild poliovirus in the United States occurred in 1979. Since then, reported cases have been either VACCINE-ASSOCIATED or imported". vaccine associated? how could that be?

now, i can assure u, europe and america are not on the verge of being polio free. its just that the standard of diagnosis has changed and whatever toxic pollution responsible for the epidemic in the first place has long been mitigated.
