virgin coconut oil

Has anybody had this problem?
I used vco to bring relief from itching from a vaginal yeast infection. After a few days, I began spotting, and now I am having what seems to be a period, complete with cramping, about 2 1/2 weeks early.
I had used it one other time as a personal lubricant and it caused spotting, too. This time I used a lot more bc of the discomfort. I have very normal periods, minimal to no cramping, and they are about 33 days apart.
I will appreciate your help.
