Hi ML:
Just wanted you to encourage you by letting you know that my mother-in-law has been taking the alkalizing drink and her energy levels have gone way up form feeling tired after 4 hours to being to do housework from 5:30am to 11 pm. Her backaches have also disappeared.
Garden question: My plants did not have enough energy to grow so I started gving them 1/2 gallon of my 2 year old child's urine(we just got him potty trained) mixed with about 25 gallons of water. I also blend up the veggie scraps and toss them in the water. I water the plants twice a week with that mix. Is this too much nitrogen? I also put in the water some limestone, granite and gypsum. And sometimes humic acid and molasses. The plants are growing well now, but their brix is still around 2s and 3s with some readings being fuzzy. I usually test the brix after watering. However they taste much better than even the stuff i buy at the farmer's market. Does the brix increase as longer the vegetable sits after harvest because of a concentration of minerals due to dehydration. I have not started foliar feeding with seaweed. I need a sprayer. I don't have mulch at the moment either but will have some very soon as the leaves are atarting to fall. Any advice?
Also what do i do about the caterpillars on my brassicas and red sucking insects on my squash while i am trying to raise the brix to a point where they won't bother my garden? Thanks.
