Thank you for inquiring about whether Iodine supplementation helps keep Breast Cancer patients in remission. That question underpins Breast Cancer Choices' Iodine Investigation Project.

Patient advocates at Breast Cancer Choices are giving free Iodine-Loading Tests to breast cancer patients to assess Iodine sufficiency with the following preliminary objectives in mind:

1. Is there any connection between iodine deficiency and breast cancer?

2. Can remedying the iodine deficiency stave off a recurrence?

3. Should iodine be used as an adjuvant therapy for breast cancer?

By enrolling breast cancer patients in our confidential database study, we are hoping to discover whether supplementing with iodine and its companion nutrients will prevent a recurrence.
