A good remedy for boils is to either soak in a tub of hot water or just use a hot compress on the site of the boil. Then mix a little dry clay (like Bentonite or Pascalite) with some distilled water and a few drops of Lugol's. The clay help draw the matter to the surface while the Iodine helps control infection. This should relieve the boils within 48 hours or less. Until the core comes out of the boil it will keep recurring. A good drawing salve will help bring it to a head and lancing will be unnecessary. Applying a compress of the Wombat Salve to the site after it has drained will help with healing.

I also have a young co-worker who suffers with ovarian cysts. Every month at ovulation time she is in dreadful pain. She is discouraged by her doctor's lack of response and the high expense, but she will not consider using the Lugol's. At age 26 she does not want a complete hysterectomy including losing her ovaries and being thrust into early menopause, but I think that is what her doctor has in mind for her.
