Re: Fungal Growth & Adherence
Hey there,
What an interesting article. I am very curious about candida, I think we know too little about it and that article is a real gold mine for those who want a little more in depth knowledge.
What if they some day do make up an enzyme inhibitor, that would be a breakthrough.
I was thinking about enzymes when I read this, taking enzymes orally that help to break down protein (break down parasites, since they are proteins?). There has been some enzyme called Candex that is suppose to break down the cell-walls of candida and indirectly kill it, but I have not tried it myself.
Bromelain, an enzyme in pineapple seems effective against parasites in the GI tract. But what about the critters in the rest of the body? Some companies produce enzymes that are suppose to be taken on an empty stomach, and somehow the enzymes are carried by blood or something and they help to reduce inflammatory conditions in the body -Wobenzyme.
Another interesting ability of parasites is the adhesion part, like they mention that candida has in the article. They glue themselves to the intestines, the eggs sacs that they lay seem to be really glued too (I have by camera seen something very strange attached to my bowel wall, and it havent "comed" out yet).
It seems like these things can survive diarrhea and laxatives pretty darn good.
I have noticed that worms dry out instantly outside the body and become like dry sticks. I wonder what their bodies are composed if and why many of them they die in the "open" air? Maybe thats why the goo and glue and adhesive abilites are so important for some of them for survival, like a fish that dies if its not in water?
