Thanks Azurite, it's interesting to learn there's different avenues to consider. He just started me on homeopathic products called Guna, are you familiar with them? I will have him test the point when I go back in a month. He's one of those people that are very knowledgeable, not just book wise, with 3 different degrees, but he's had 20 years of hands-on experience, and sometimes his mind is thinking at the same time he's talking, and it's hard for me to get things straight as to what he wants to do with me. But, like he keeps telling me, one phase at a time- colon/digestive #1.
I have been making raw juice from the beets in my garden- he also mentioned beets, so that must be one positive thing I've already been doing. I'll be sad when they are gone for the year. The three things that are surviving the cold and still doing well are beets, turnips and swiss chard. Turnips are supposed to be good for cleaning the bile, and swiss chard has the green stuff, chlorophyll.
