I couldn't agree more about music. I listen to all kinds. I wake up to it in the morning, play it on the radio on the way to and from work, and fire up a round of CDs on the weekends unless the radio is hot. Not that I don't enjoy periods of silence, but music is the therapy of the Gods. That and dogs. And funny shows on TV.
The truth is I would not have survived my life without music, as I too have some kind of astrological situation (unfortunately I don't now enough about astrology to know where my Saturn is) that keeps me isolated. No one has ever been "there" for me, either. Even here on Curezone, if I ask for help I get overlooked or I get short, curt replies (or both). I have no family, no significant other, and I have never had a BFF anybody..and I do get lonely sometimes, although not as much as one might think. Music, my dog, and an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond every now and then helps to keep me in the pink.
