Oats once in a while won't harm, at least not for me but I can't have them everyday. Breakfast is the worst part for me when it comes to this diet. Some times I'll make a shake with the just a very small amount of oatmeal, different fruit (bananas, blueberries, pineapple) and soy milk. So far, that has worked best for me. Most of the time, I skip the oatmeal and have a slice of Ezekiel bread with almond butter on the side. Hope this helps.
