Re: DIZZY and tingly after coffee enema
Hello,
It is perfectly normal to feel a bit dizzy and even a little nauseus when you first start doing coffee enemas. The toxins that get released sometimes are heavy and some residual toxins my enter the bloodstream. This could be evidence that you are having a healing or detox response, which is a good thing.
I've been doing the Gerson full protocol for six months now, two weeks of which were done in a Gerson hospital and supervised by a Gerson trained Naturapathic Doctor. She taught me a lot. The Gerson protocol has cancer patients (which I am) do up to five
coffee enemas a day. However, this is supplemented with plenty of potassium and 13 glasses of fresh squeezed organic vegetable juices a day, so that you do not run the risk or loosing important electrolytes. Be sure to educate yourself. Charlotte Gerson's book has a very good chapter on how to properly prepare the
coffee enema ( too many people use the wrong ratio of coffee to water. It is best to use a coffee that is grown and roasted specifically for enema use, and to use 3 tablespoons of coffee per
quart of water, letting it cool to body temperature. Lie on your left side so the coffee has a chance to be absorbed by the liver, thus opening the bile ducts and releasing toxins via the bile when you release the liquid.
She also reocmmends being sure to have two juice per enema. The Gerson method has us do five
coffee enemas per day. My doctor started me with three, and brought me up to five when she determined I tolerated it well. Sometimes they still make me feel dizzy and weak, if I am releasing a lot of toxins from all the chemotherapy I've had. Usually the
coffee enemas help me to feel much, much better though. Be sure to stay hydrated, preferably with organic juices, or very high quality water.
The coffee I use and really like is JA Wilson's coffee. It is organic, mildly roasted (a heavy dark roast can produce carcinogens) and grown specifically for enema use. Their website is very educational. There are other organic, enema intended coffee companies out there are well. I suggest you do a search.
Good Luck.
