Police are deciding whether to bring criminal charges against bosses at an NHS Trust in UK after a record number of patients caught a hospital bug.
A total of 345 people died after being infected with Clostridium Difficile in outbreaks at three hospitals run by Maidstone and Turnbridge Wells NHS Trust. Healthcare Commission Study found "significant failings" at all levels of the hospitals' management.
The report said inadequate staffing, dirty wards and too much time spent on meeting government targets were to blame.
