no I am sorry that I don't have any info on how older children do with chelation. There are many I believe on the autism and mercury site who could be of help. That by far is the best place to start asking questions. I am so out of the loop now.
My son was not only regressing into himself but his anger and obsessive behaviors coupled with his unwillingness to transition or listen to anything just about drove me to a nervous breakdown at the time. Trying to deal with it and just seeing a baby of 2 with such severe issues just about ripped my heart out.
I remember when I was active on the autism/mercury board that during chelation some children would utter their first words. Some would also regress...
It was scary but the way I looked at it we had no choice. He was very sick. WE were not goin down without a fight.
