They are operating under a false premise, the reverse is true. It is less effective and in some cases can even lead to toxicity. What the article is talking about is the quantity of silver, not the surface area or the efficiency.  The most effective silver products are the ones that are most efficient and have the most surface area without bulking up the PPM concentrations.
