Has anyone separated Fats and Proteins from Carbs?

[As I also asked in the Ask CureZone forum.]

From a lot of old posts I've been reading I'm seeing hints that this may be a key to well-being.

Also, I had a lady tell me, at a Weight Watchers meeting, that her husband did not mix fats/protein with sugars/starches...though he would have vegetables with either...and that he had never had a weight problem.

Has anyone actually done this for any extended period of time?

If I remember correctly, this is the basis (or close to it) for the Beverly Hills Diet...keeping fats/protein (plus veggies) to one day, and saving sugars/starches (with veggies) for another day.

I've also just read that fruits are best taken alone, mostly just one fruit at a time.

The part I can't remember is whether the tropical fruits recommended in the Beverly Hills Diet, or any other fruits, were separate again...by hours or days.

My books are not unpacked, so I'd have to search the net, but I would very much like to hear from anyone who has tried any form of this.

(I would also very much like to hear if this way of eating promotes good bowel habits.)

Thanks,

Fledgling
