hi, i would say you have definately done the right thing:) it can take many months for the body to normalize after mirena and some people get side effects after mirena is removed too - i believe that the mirena throws the body into and estrogen dominant state, which causes the hair loss and all the other symptoms (estrogen dominance mimicks thyroid problems, so often people think they have a thyroid problem yet the blood work comes back ok, but really it is having too much estrogen in the system, compared to the level of progesterone). Heater has an article on this further down the page, and there is lots of info on the internet about it if you get further problems. However, i sincerely hope that your side effects gradually go and that you have no more problems. Do post back if you get any further worries though. Thinking of you, and wishing you well:)x
