A Feminine or Masculine God

The God I met in heaven did not really like the name "God" although she did respond to that name. I say she but that really is not the case either...it is just that there was no masculinity in the voice...however when I was just outside the atmosphere... I met a male form who looked like an old white headed man with a long white flowing beard...a translucent long robe...lightning like eyes...a long staff in one hand and charts in the other... The masculine being probably would have liked to have been called God, but at that point, I had met the "real deal" and I was not going to accept this lesser version of God for the awesome light that is love... Whatever or whoever this being was... he was a definite he... The God in heaven I met is light and love... I imagine there are many interpretations of both of these energies and both could loosely be described as "God" but when i returned to earth, I was ashamed of the church of my youth... They were selling me on this masculine aspect of God but the feminine or "not masculine" God is only one I want dealing with me when I leave this life....

I can see how the NDE could make one despise religion...but I also found my God who I call Yah...buried in the pages of my religion... but you can only serve one master faithfully... I may slide over to the male God when I want things this world can provide...but when I am needing to talk to God... when things are getting low...I go to the source of all light.... that is where all love goes...and when I need love..."I go where true love goes.- C.S."
