Higher dose easier than low dose,Trapper was right

Last weekend Hubby made fruit shakes for the family and managed to dump Iodine while trying to get the eye dropper to pull up the iodine. How much? we don't know perhaps 1/8th to 1/4th teaspoon. (10 to 20 drops) He then divided the shake between the 4 of us, giving me the smaller glass.
I had no adverse reaction-slightly tired, slight headache but all manageable!

I have been dosing myself and family since March. I take 1/2 drop twice a week and the rest take 1 drop once or twice a week. I couldn't go any higher than 1/2 drop due to stiffness and pain in my thumb joints. As a very sensitive person I was unwilling to try anything different.

Trapper is so right--You should try taking more -not the minimal doses I was taking. Perhaps the small dose releases bromine but the larger dose has a chance to actually get to the body systems where it is needed?

So.. I took 6 drops (vertical) yesterday and salt pushed twice with no worsening of my thumb joints!!! this from a person who has been taking only 4 drops a month!! because it hurt to go any higher. Yes, I was tired yesterday but I feel great today!

My son seems to have Iodine reactions this week from the weekend dose but he weighs much less(80 pounds) and vitamin C seems to be helping him.

In conclusion: I can't convince others to try a higher dose but I can tell that I will be taking more.
