How does your face respond to squeezing acne?

i know this is kind of a weird question, but i just went on vacation with a friend who has Acne considerably worse than i do, but he just goes to the bathroom and squeezes pimples like once an hour. the thing i don't understand is why his face doesn't get red or inflamed at all after squeezing, it looks perfectly normal. My skin isn't great, but i can only squeeze pimples at night before i go to bed, otherwise i have bright pinkish red marks all around the pimple for hours after a squeezing. if my face behaved like his my skin would be much better. both of us have similar skin color as well.

i don't know just something i was thinking about

and don't preach to me about how i shouldn't squeeze, i vigorously clean my hands before and wash my face immediately after. i tried abstaining from squeezing for a month and my face was worse then ever.
