You are right about the fat... but it is not just about the fat. It is also the kind/type of fat (good fats in sardines/salmon) AND the "good" fats enabling the better absorption of "real" (whole food) fat soluble nutrients.

One can be "fat" and still be cold all of the time... what makes up "their" fat stores? If it is hard to metabolize fat, or fat used to store toxins safely away from vital body functions, then the individual will most likely be cold, or have cold hands and feet.

Most of us grew up on plastic fats... promoted strongly, while "real" fats were demonized since the 1950's. It will take a while to get rid of them.
