I've been learning about that recently!- crystals do hold onto energy from past owners-- or if they are used alot in crystal healing sessions, which is why they must be cleansed often.

I know that people who are attuned to Reiki can use Reiki to cleanse the crystals energies.

Some of the ways I've been reading on how to cleanse them is Reiki, sunlight and moonlight, Saltwater, Running cold water, etc.


The crystal Healer guy I met mentioned that after the crystal is cleansed, one should hold it in thier left hand (if right handed, or right hand if left handed) and ask The Spirit (God)to use it for the highest good.

I imagine that if someone is into the Occult and black magic, Voodoo, etc, that they can mess with crystals and program them to hold negative energy.

This is probably why it isnt a good idea to buy a really giant crystal from an untrusted source. Gigantic boulder crystals are probably next to impossible to cleanse unless one is very spiritual and connected to God , and is able to be used as a channel for the Spirit to cleanse it.

I bet that crystal your friend tossed in the field could have been in the hands of a Satanist, or someone in black witchcraft at one time--, who messed with it in ways God never intended crystals to be used for.

This is probably why we all should be praying over every crystal we obtain , as they do hold on to the previous owner's energies.

Even when we use them for healing others, we should cleanse them on a regular basis, to "recharge" them, and clean them from any negativity they pick up while used in healing.

I guess it's an example of how every healing tool must be used with wisdom and discernment.
