If I was a moderator for this forum I would plaster "R"s all over this loving and compassionate post. You have a lovely gift to look beyond the smells and immediate unpleasantness of a soiled child and be more concerned for the well being of a precious young human than a pile of dirty clothes.

Your husband is not alone, many years later (after 1930) my teachers tried to force me to switch my left handedness to right. I developed such bad speech problems, they let me stay as I was, but it took months of speech therapy to speak correctly again. I can still print in mirror image (reverse writing) and have mild dyslexia from the efforts to change the dominate side of my brain. Thank goodness left handed kids are more accepted now than in the "good old days". Tweet
