Further info ref Terahertz device..
These are reposts, but hopefully someone has more information on this device..
it's too good to ignore..

Dr. Clark's work is based on testing with a device called the Syncrometer. The Syncrometer is a bio feedback unit in the line of bio resonance devices that have been known since about 1950. They work by "listening" for electromagnetic resonance in the human body or detecting such resonance in products. Although scientific studies have shown the work with bio feedback units successful with patients (see e.g. the book "Allergy Free" by Dr. Konrad Kail), the principle itself has been studied insufficiently.
This may now change! According to a recent *article work at the University of Delaware might produce a unit that can listen for electromagnetic resonance just like a Syncrometer can .. but in a manner independent from the skill of a tester.
Since this technology even works at some distance, the applications of it are potentially endless:
You could test products at the super market for pollutants;
You could search your body for toxins and missing nutrients;
You could detect drugs or explosives in an airport or in another place prone to terrorism;
You could detect chemicals related to cancer in humans and diagnose cancer; and possibly many other diseases in very little time, uninvasive and at very little cost;
You could find victims trapped under rubble or in avalanches;
You could detect chemicals in a hazardous waste spill;
and many others that no one is even thinking of at this time.

The article is about the very recently accessed THz (terahertz) region of the electromagnetic spectrum. I doubt that a Rife-type device can access that wavelength region, even with overtones in mind. But it is nontheless the best article that shows how electromagnetic resonance can be used in medicine, surprise!
While some chemicals show their effect by having a certain color, others show up with resonances in the THz region, I remember reading that DNA has resonances in the THz region as well. So this is a high-tech analogy to what Rife and Clark discovered years ago - only in a different wavelength regime! And certainly being more complicated and expensive it is frontier
Science and therefore acceptable in the medical field.
