Just as a followup to this thread. If you suspect a candida issue as being responsible for the hair loss you may want to consider a detox of heavy metals. In Europe they consider candida as a friend to the body since it is mobilized in an effort to hold heavy metals and other deadly toxins in check. And if you have developed an overgrowth of candida it is because you have bio-accumulated too many heavy metals. They even postulate that the die-off of candida is the release of the heavy metals causing irritation in the body.
So instead of trying to kill the candida practitioners recommend a heavy metal detox program. By lowering the heavy metal burden the body no longer needs the candida as a defense. Additionally it is good to add soft tissue mineral support with lots of calcium and vitamin D.
