yep. look at 1970, when NIxon declared the "war on cancer" and started spending "money" on it. Since then, cancers have increased in number and scope, so too has the spending. The US medical industry is far too dependent on cancer as a revenue source for the trend to turn. It will only continue to increase, while cures are "just around the corner". It's the same old "invisible villain", who is never apprehended. Give us your money.

Cures are already known, for decades. Most wait until they get cancer, before they start researching. Kind of like waiting till you get hungry, before you start ploughing the field and planting seed. No wonder so many are starving to death. Television, sports, and orifice stuffing take precedence over health eduation, for most.
