The question of what constitutes a proper diet for man is a difficult one.
I think Upton Sinclair realized his mistake with a vegan diet, which I don't personally support either.

I adhere to a mixed diet of fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, cold-water fish & organic chicken and some Quorn, plus some supplements: which works for me.
I think we could all discuss diet and food till kingdom-come but so long as it is organic and (in my own case) 80% raw and 20% cooked.

I agree with you.....go where the truth leads you.

Good luck on your fast......I don't envy you the first few days though !!!!!
