Hello World ! In Sylvia Browne's Book : End of Days, she predicted the following on pge 210: " In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments. Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later and then disappear completely."

(CNN) -- Renowned psychic Sylvia Browne -- a leader in the paranormal world who appeared regularly on television and radio and also wrote dozens of top-selling books -- died Wednesday in a northern California hospital, according to her website.
She was 77.
A believer in reincarnation as well as God, Browne conducted thousands of hypnotic regressions and hundreds of trance sessions to help people around the world, according to her official biography. She explained on CNN's Larry King Live that she both communicated with the dead and looked into the future.
"I don't know how I do it," Browne once explained on King's show. "I've done it all my life."

While beloved by many in the psychic community, Browne also had detractors. They included those critical of her remarks, on a 2004 episode of "The Montel Williams Show," that then-missing Amanda Berry was dead -- telling Berry's mother she would next see her daughter "in heaven, on the other side."
Berry ended up being rescued -- along with her young daughter, Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus -- last May in the Cleveland home of Ariel Castro, where they'd been held captive for the better part of a decade. Browne subsequently posted a statement on her website saying, "If ever there was a time to be grateful and relieved for being mistaken, this is that time. Only God is right all the time."

On October 6, 2002, eleven year old Shawn Hornbeck disappeared while riding his bike to a friend's house in Richwood, Missouri. His anguished parents went on Montel’s TV show on February 24, 2003, to try to learn from “psychic” Sylvia Browne what might have happened to their son. Playing the odds as usual, she told them Shawn was dead ("is no longer with us"), and followed this with several guesses about where his body would be found (in a “wooded area”).
Fortunately, as you may have heard on the news this weekend, Shawn and another boy who went missing just last week, were just found alive in an apartment in Kirkwood, Missouri.

There will always be haters in forums and websites...it is a clear indication that these few members are merely refusing to express honor and respect with a clear, examining and 'un-biased' attitude and choose instead to express their lack of awareness and lack of intelligence.
If you feel you have a need to investigate and explore certain pathways of learning and growth, for you, then by all means, do it, and ignore those who condemn or judge without knowing the facts.

Hi All!
I'm not an avid fan of hers, neither do I dislike (hate) her.
She comes across as a very practical person.
A lot of her advice is very down to earth, nothing mystical about it.
Her books advise good works, helping others etc.
My main complaint is that she keeps messing with the image I have of Jesus.
He had a twin brother. Is that metaphorical, like a twin soul?
From her normally frank stance I think not.
When Herod killed all those children born within the time frame
of when the star of Bethlehem appeared, I figured it was to single Jesus
out. To ensure, in God's plan, that no one else was influenced by
this astronomical phenomenon. (Kinda like there could only be one Elvis.)
Now she's claiming He has a twin!
He was married to Mary Madeline. I wonder who performed the ceremony?
Don't know what Sylvia, or should I say Francine, says about their children.
(Of course they had a least one child or there'd be no Devinci code.)
Does it make any sense at all for Jesus to take on a wife and child/children
if He was just going to leave them by dying on the cross?
(What would be His motive? To establish a super race? Like Hitler?
Or a more fleshly motive like having sex?)
Oh yeah, Sylvia claims Jesus didn't die on the cross.
That he was drugged. Fell into a coma-like stupor and was later revived.
She points out how soon He passed, how none of his bones were broken.
She fails to mention the spear in His side, the water mixed with blood,
a sign of suffocation. Even if He wasn't dead yet a punctured lung
would have finished Him off.
Who revived Him? His disciples of course! And even though they were
in on the hoax, they willingly died for the lie.
I ask, Would you?
So I'm coming to believe that Sylvia's job, or mission/outreach is for those
people who don't read the bible, or have had it crammed down their throat
to the point where they reject Him. If she can reach those who don't believe
that Jesus is the only begotten son of God, she's not doing harm.
What are your thoughts about this?

I was using the dictionary yesterday and happened to see the name Thomas.
It traced the name back through several languages all the way to Aramaic
in which it means: a twin.
If I recall what I read correctly, Sylvia was talking about the Gospel of Thomas
and said he may have been Jesus' twin brother. But she did not state as fact
that Jesus had a twin brother. Even if Thomas was His brother, and a twin
that doesn't mean he was a twin to/with Jesus. Jesus did have other siblings...
See how easily we deceive ourselves?

Most people don't understand that people who are mediums or physchics are all at different levels of spirituality, from a low realm to a high realm and depending on which realm or level they are in would influence their interpretations, not even all of the spirit world is enlightened and just as on earth they give their own interpretations. There are low levels and high levels and in between levels in the spirit world according to peoples spiritual growth,most lower levels cannot adequately interpret everything and just because a spirit is in the world of spirit does not mean that spirit understands everything,you really need to pray and ask God first and your higher ancestors to help with any readings, there are really good mediums out there, but you have to search,many don't advertise but some who really want to help will become available,you have to wade through and check carefully,ask more than one to check the facts,you usually know by the level of heart and sincerity, I have been to some excellent ones who do a lot of praying even before they speak to you,they know to ask for the highest of your ancestors to come, Sylvia has the gift but where she is may make a difference in the level of truth she can reveal,the Bible itself is wrapped up in parables and symbols and not everyone can decipher it,it is a very secretive book for a reason,the story of Adam and Eve is only an outline of what really happened,we need details to understand the full story in the right perspective, we have to be willing to take the responsibility to find out by lots of prayer.You don't have to believe one medium but it does not mean that there are not others you can check or believe.-

in Sylvia's earlier works she seems to believe Jesus died on the cross, but is now changing her opinion.
Some may say that this knowledge wasn't revealed to her
until later. I'm thinking that she didn't want to miss out on the revenue that books like the De Vinci Code were raking in.
