Somebody at the
Iodine forum was asking how to get rid of parasites. This was my response-
There are two problems that must be corrected in order to get rid of any disease:
Toxemia and Malnutrition
Iodine supplementation is a good place to start because it will help you address both of these issues simultaneously.
Iodine is an essential mineral, needed by every cell of the body.
Iodine deficiency is a major epidemic. Without sufficient Iodine, your immune system is unable to fight off diseases like Lyme. When you supplement with Iodine, your body will begin to release toxins.
If your parasitic infection is not life threatening or making you terribly miserable at the moment, I recommend taking Iodine for a few months before doing a
parasite cleanse. This will strengthen your immune system, fortify your cells, make the cleanse less traumatic, insure the quickest recovery from the detox symptoms.
I am pretty sure Vulcanel would say that Iodine might be all you need.
Achieving optimal health is a matter of bringing your body into balance. You could be deficient in other nutrients, as well as Iodine. It can take months of therapeutic supplementation before every cell of the body has sufficient Iodine. If you are feeling a lot of movement and the
parasites are making your miserable or multipying quickly, you might want to take measures to speed up elimnination.
In order to give you good advice, I need to know a little more about the movement inside of you. Are you feeling big worms, like tape, ascaris, pinworms, or threadworms in addition to the Lyme? Or do you mean that you can feel the Lyme, or some other colony of microscopic
parasites migrating in/on your body? If you are talking about Lyme, Shroom knows a lot about this and so does Newport. You can ask Shroom questions at the
parasite support forum. Newport might see your message here.
There are many kinds of parasites: virus, bacteria, fungus, worms, amoeba, protozoa, arthropods, etc. Apparently Iodine goes after most of them. You can't go wrong by taking it. It will stimulate the liver to function more efficiently and help you eliminate them.
If you are suffering from constipation, you might also want to cleanse your colon. You can do that with
colonic irrigation, enemas, added fiber, oxycleanse, and adequate hydration. Once your colon is moving, you might want to drink some kidney tea for a few days, or add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and honey to a glass of water every day. Eat lots of watermelon.
Then, if you the movement you are feeling is worms, and you are afraid to increase the Iodine, take an herbal formula containing
Wormwood , Green
Black-Walnut Hulls and Cloves. Start with less than the recommended dose. If you don't get any results first round, increase to the recommended dose the second round. If you still don't get any results, take more than the recommended dose on the third round. Take it for 10 cycles. Increase slowly, taking more with each cycle, until they start coming out of you. Take for ten days and stop for five days.
***Iodine is not the only mineral deficiency of epidemic proportions. Insufficient dietary selenium has been linked to
Arthritis and cancer. Insufficient chromium has been linked to diabetes and hypoglycemia. The ratio of zinc and copper is also crucial. Anti-oxidents, B vitamins, probiotics, fiber, omega 3 fatty acids, enzymes and amino acids are all important pieces of the puzzle. The key is bringing your body into balance. This is highly an individual matter, due to genetic diversity, environment, stress levels, and many other factors. You must listen to your body and know there is a difference between a healing crisis and disease progression.
When a healing crisis occurs, it means you feel bad because the toxins are leaving your body. When the healing crisis is over, you will feel better than you did before you got sick. If the illness is due to disease progression, the sickness will leave you weaker than before, not stronger.
