The discovery of May 30th 2006 reveals that the apparent placement of Earth at the nexus of these two galaxies has far greater significance than any had yet imagined--
Earth and her Sun star system is not aligned with the near 90 degree off-angle galaxy in the sky (now) before us "because the Milky Way is simply not our parent galaxy."

DISCOVERY-THEORY OF NOVEMBER 30th 2006: Considered here as much theory as discovery for the fact that we all have yet to see the outcome in our very lifetimes: The real reason for the ending of the Mayan calendar? We have come out of this smaller galaxy that the Milky Way has had the 'come hither' on for the last 2 billion years. We are just now coming in even with and are apparently "going to actually turn and join" with the spinning whirlpool Milky Way disc after some 2 billion years of circling around it at a near right angle -- as part of our parent galaxy called the Sagittarius Dwarf.
This "grand turning" is possibly the root cause for the discontinuation of the Mayan calendar ( considered by many researchers to be the most accurate calendar on the planet -- requiring no 'leap years' to stay on track ) because the 'read-point' of the Pleiades star cluster from Earth which many believe the calendar was based upon could no longer be an accurate reference and constant, as we begin to steer away from the earlier chart-ably predictable movement. This third theory-discovery may fully give 2012 ancient prophesy issues a somewhat different perspective and footing.

THE MILKY WAY

The discovery of May 30th 2006 reveals that the apparent placement of Earth at the nexus of these two galaxies has far greater significance than any had yet imagined--
Earth and her Sun star system is not aligned with the near 90 degree off-angle galaxy in the sky (now) before us "because the Milky Way is simply not our parent galaxy."
We were part of a smaller galaxy that the Milky Way has put the 'come hither' on and we are just now coming up even with the equatorial plane from a right angle and apparently going to be turning and righting ourselves, turning and joining with the Milky Way after some 2 billion years of circling around it at a near right angle as part of our parent galaxy called the Sagittarius Dwarf.
The new understanding is that we (as a solar system) were not ever directly a part of the Milky Way.
If you go outside and look you will see that it is actually sideways in the night sky...

Sagittarius Dwarf is now so stretched out that it has lost gravitational hold and cohesiveness to our solar system and we will finally join the "sideways in the sky" Milky Way for the first time in our history. Our solar system is apparently going to finally take a right angle turn for the first time in history and start going around in the Milky Way whirlpool. This is all newer information... and yes it appears to be fact. How fast we may turn and/or pivot or see the magnetic shifting of the poles like other bodies in our Solar System have recently in polar shifts-- and just how fast any resulting changes may be going to happen are simply not predictable -- as we simply have not witnessed the joining in with a new galaxy before as a solar system like this.
Indications are that the Sun has begun to reflect alignment to the new angle and electromagnetic polarization of the poles of the Sun have apparently taken on the angled influence and have shifted to where the North and South poles are now lying at the Sun's equator :

GLOBAL CHANGE: A PERMANENT FACT OF LIFE HERE ON EARTH
Life on Earth has already managed to survive no less than eight passages both around and through the higher energy equatorial plane of the Milky Way according to the carbon dated historical time line, and the rather than being something to fear -- we may actually have that to thank for providing the building blocks of the tremendously rich diversities of evolving life and species alive on Earth today.
Primordial evolving conditions may in fact have been even somewhat accelerated due to the vastly greater spectrum, quantities, and array of DNA mutating higher quantum energy harmonics as well as the concentrations of rare primordial root elements to be found therein. There is so much that we don't know, but are clearly now on the road to find out.

The uniion of Two Galaxies-- A New Beginning for Earth
Two surprise astro-science discoveries made just months apart, together with the most recent breakthrough discoveries, are now due to cause the rewriting of all the astrophysics, science, and astronomy books, and solving age-old mysteries that have baffled science, astronomy, and ancient prophesies researchers for centuries, including the biggest cause overall of Global Warming.
Top astrophysics teams from both the Universities of Virginia, and Massachusetts in 2003 discovered that some two billion years ago, the Milky Way galaxy put the cosmic "come hither" on a nearby galaxy come now to be known as the Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy.
Those scientists traced this little galaxy's path playing hard-to-get and ring around the rosy as having circled up and around the Milky Way at a near 90 degree off-angle at least eight different times until finally then circling around to intersect and merge through the Milky Way equatorial disc -- right through our local space.
With the aid of infrared telescopes, and super computers, scientists were recently able to distinguish the Sagittarius Dwarf presence, position, and looping shape out from the mass of background stars and create a new star map putting our solar system right into the intersecting stream of the two galaxies.
It was not until the most recent set of discoveries that all of the pieces of the puzzle started to fit together...
The breakthroughs in science are coming now so rapidly that even at this very moment-- most astro-science personnel that could be consulted for comment on even the first two breakthrough discoveries listed above (that) have now fully "undone" all related textbook science all the way back to Copernicus-- may not have had ample opportunity to be properly updated on these and actually able to be definitive in any related statements issued.

Q: Shouldn't traffic lights sense if you are the only one around waiting and cycle green for you w/ no waiting?

Q: Rather than requiring have a vehicle to lose momentum, and come to a full stop before allowing a shortening of wait time, shouldn't traffic lights sense you coming 1/2 a block away, and turn green ahead for the only car around?

Q: Should we ever have to be told by a robotic traffic light to stop -- sit and wait -- wasting precious time, money, gas, unnecessarily blocking and slowing our momentum when there is clearly no other traffic in sight at an intersection?

Redundant motion sensors and photosensors can easily and cheaply now be built in to sample- scan the intersections in all directions for any motion of traffic, any speed of approach, and any infrared signature or presence of any vehicle, pedestrian, runner, bicyclist, etc. and allow the light to cycle on behalf of the car or cars waiting, or to even hold the light on as a green longer on the approach of a lone car or cars when no other is clearly either waiting or approaching.
The traffic signal would always default to the regular "normal" mode when detecting any greater measure of traffic activity. Being redundantly triple sensored for not missing the presence of any type of traffic or pedestrian-- stopped -- and/ or moving at both close range on up to a 1/2 mile-- and it would not be possible to fool the sensors or in any way allow a conflict or the system would default to the normal "dumb robot mode" as fail safe.
A second invention also designed in is the "pre-change indicator" for drivers approaching the green light from a distance:
Drivers approaching on the tail end of the green light will get a new feature-- an additional and simultaneous 3 slow yellow blinks near the tail end of the green-- while the green is yet full on-- nearing end of cycle to tip off the smart driver approaching whether to either let off the gas and coast, or that they will clearly make the light no problem-- saving time, gas, momentum, and even grief either way. If the gasoline prices continue through the roof it will also be necessary to add an additional and simultaneous 3 slow yellow blinks near the tail end of the red also-- nearing end of red light cycle tipping off drivers that cut their engines at longer wait-timed light intersections ( 2+ min.) to restart their motors for the light change.
Q: Should sentient free will endowed beings ever be so controlled by robotic traffic machines without smart programming?
When this is incorporated, we will wonder how we ever allowed ourselves the laughably cruel and unusual punishment of having to sit there wasting time and valuable fuel-- held hostage to mindless crossing signal timers waiting to cross at completely deserted intersection crossings w/ no traffic in sight...
The sheer amount of fuel wasted each time a vehicle must break from having arrived at an efficient momentum and coasting speed, by law be forced to lose it all-- completely coming to a stop, and then be required to completely expend anew to regain all lost momentum is astonishing to consider that we allow it and think nothing of it in this current day...

Rather than going up and then fully around in a vertical loop while turning with the Milky Way below, we as a solar system are apparently going to be "centering in" with the turning whirlpool shaped Milky Way spiral galactic disc-- and moving horizontally like a dolphin swimming around with the current amidst the outer edge region of an incomprehensibly huge brightly glowing and turning whirlpool galaxy in space. What makes it somewhat amusingly and confusing, is all textbook writers had jumped the gun and assumed we were fully already traveling in the newer direction, now to discover to their amazement that we are actually still in process-- (and obviously) fully still oriented at the old off-angle and actually still traveling in the old direction from our earlier home galactic stream -- obviously still contrary to the Milky Way.

Editor's Note: My idea for the future Blue Ray H.D. Reality workout and T.V. Room in the house of the future? A refreshingly simplified combination of these two. We can see the inside of the sphere becoming the endless display surface as well ( in order to lose the bulky glasses and wiring harness) and the LCD Display tiled in onto the inner surface spherically ( polycarbonate scratch coated seemlessly fitting LCD geodesic skins fit in together seemlessly with both touch and infrared temperature mapping naturally built into the touch/temperature sensitive display-sphere ). Why not achieve a more and more pathogen free state and therefore live healthy and disease free and full of energy as when an early youngster? We are just beginning to understand some of the root mechanisms that may govern the phenomena of aging and possibly now cancer.
