Last September, my chriroprater prescribed me a large list of supplements as a bowel and
Liver Flushing regemen. I became extremely ill. This is the list.
1 Glutagenics (3/day)
2. Blue Heron (4caps/3x/day)
3. Intrinsic B12 (6/day)
4. Lipo-gin (3/day)
5. Niacin (2/day)
6. Berferine (6/day)
7. Magnesium (3/day)
8. Cal Citrate (5/day)
9. Isocort (8/day)
10. Trace minerals (20 drops/day)
11. Oxygenics (4/day)
12. Zinc (4/day)
13. Pancreation (4/meal)
14. Acigest (1/meal)
I took these supplements for two months and became extremely ill suffering from constant fatigue, ringing in my ears, excessive popping of my joints, severe skin eruptions, excessive facial hair growth, dry hair and brittle nails. I appeared blue at one point, suffer indigestion, depression, confusion, irritability, lack of concentration, and impaired dexterity and coordination. I cannot digest animal, dairy fats, and sugars, and must maintain a very selective diet.
A blood analysis shows my aspartate aminotransferase (AST), an enzyme found primarily in my liver and heart was at a value of 28mu/ml and that my alanine aminotransferase (ALT)was at a value of 62mu/ml. My Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), the urea or urine left over when the liver breaks down protein which is normally removed by the blood by the kidneys is now at 8 mg/dl. I have a “tired” liver and I have been told it will take time to heal.
I am only 25 and thought that such a flush would improve my health. Prior to the flush I had never experienced these symtoms to such a severity. My life has been very hard ever since the flush. I am chronicly ill. Do you have have any suggestions of what I should do. This doctor seemingly feels unresponsible for this injury she caused on my whole well being.
