Bananas & Citrus Fruit

I have seen a couple of places that you're supposed to avoid bananas and citrus fruit on a Liver Cleansing diet, but I haven't seen a decent explanation why. I believe that they're some of the best foods you could eat. Does anyone have an explanation as to what they do to impact the liver?

Mrs Chang explains why. In fact I disagree with citrus fruits as they do me good but I´ve realized that I cannot eat bananas anymore , both my spleen and gallbladder react badly to banana. I´ll try to get rid of my Gallstones to go back to eating banana.
Listen to your body eat a bit of what you like and see if your body reacts well or not to that. That´s what I´ve been doing.

It's funny that you mention that about bananas. When I was picking up my prescription of Nexium for my stomach problems, my pharmacist (a real nice Chinese guy who seems to know as much as my MD) asked if my doctor had mentioned a mild sedative. He also asked if I drank coffee, orange juice, and other acidic beverages. He also asked if I ate bananas, which surprised me. When I asked how bananas could be causes stomach pain, he said that they are very hard to digest.
