Is the Liver Flush just for people who are known to have gallstones? Is that why some people don't yield any stones when they do the flush?
Also, what do you catch the stones in? I am guessing you don't go fishing in the toliet for them.

I see the stones floating in the water. I don't use a colander or anything like that. You pass the stones easily and painlessly from the Epsom Salts . They clean you out well, hence the diarrhea that people talk about, and what you pass the next morning is clearish fluid and the stones which usually float because they are made of cholesterol/fat. This is a reply to # 96,580A plastic collander is the best thing for catching stones. However "potty fishing" is also a popular sport among liver, bowel and parasite cleansers. All you need are disposable plastic gloves, chopsticks or plastic forks and knives, and a strong stomach. :) The collander is easy to find at most Dollar Stores-for a dollar, and is easy to fit inside the bowel, and easy to clean.
Liver Cleansing will help flush toxins from the liver, but may not be necessary for everyone. There are Liver Cleansing foods like raw carrots, citrus fruits and dark leafy greens. There are herbs like milk thistle. Coffee retention enemas are also good for liver cleansing. However, for anyone who has suffered from acute gallbladder attacks, liver/gallbladder flushes are a miracle.
I have been doing Liver Flushes for over a year. My naturopath got me started. I have passed over 6000 stones from BB to marble sized. I now rarely have problems with gas and bloating, my skin tone has improved, migraine headaches have all but disappeared, my eyesight is better, and I rarely have any problems with Body Odor . My liver congestion was extreme, partly due to the high number of pain killers I have been taking for a back injury, also the stress of the injury and pain, plus being unemployed due to the injury and resulting financial woes, plus a terrible diet all contributed to the large number of stones I was continuing to produce. It has been a rough 18 months or so, but along with better diet my health is much better. Liver Cleansing has improved, perhaps even helped save my life. I do the basic apple juice, epsom salt, olive oil and juice flush. I vary the kind of juice I use, grapefruit, lemon, apple and once in awhile Coke. I now flush only when I feel a twinge or have pale stools, my last flush produced less than a dozen small stones and a lot of waxy chaff. I feel I am nearing the end of a long and difficult journey, but one well worth the time, trouble and terrible tastes.- Nice post spleenpain

This is a reply to # 96,589I had mild attacks for years. I was the classic gallbladder trouble type-female, fair, fat, fortyish, and fertile (meaning not menopausal). The attacks usually came only when I had a lot of high fat foods late in the day. A kinesiology profile showed some latent gallbladder/liver problems in August of 2002. I did my doctor's week long apple juice, raw apple, and olive oil fast-flush. It was horrible, but I passed dozens of stones, all pea sized ranging in color from olive green to nearly black with a thin white coating. Almost at once I began to feel better, I also lost 13 pounds in ten days and my blood pressure was normal without medication. All was fine until April of 2003. I had a small ice cream cone with premium ice cream and thought I was going to die! I knew it was a gallbladder attack, but never thought anything could be so painful. I got on-line and started doing research. I found Curezone and the Hulda Clark one day flush. The rest is history. At first I felt too shy and unlearned to post on the forums, but I was a faithful reader. Finally I decided that perhaps I could help others and began posting my adventures in cleansing. I have not had any ultra sounds. I lost my insurance when I had to leave my job after the back injury. Now I don't care that much about tests, I know how I felt then, and how much better I feel now. That is all the proof I need. I am still struggling with chronic pain from nerve inflammation stemming from my injury, but overall, Liver Flushing has improved my health 100%. I am thankful that my doctor was able to find the beginnings of gallbladder and liver problems before they became as severe as some people here have had to endure. Yet another reason why Liver Flushes are probably good even for people without strong symptoms, they can be preventative as well as curative and maintenance.

Congratulations on your successful health journey. Reading your post reminded me of my net research on chronic inflammations. There is an enzyme called 'Serrapeptase' that is said to eliminate all manner of inflammations, chronic and otherwise, anywhere in the body.
It is even said to work on chronic headaches like the one I have had since 1956. I only found out about this today. I will go to get some next week. I am very excited about this.
This is a natural enzyme and it should be enteric coated when you buy it. It has been used in Europe for the last 30 years. A search under 'Serrapeptase' will result in much useful info.
I hear that 'Enerex', a company that makes it, is very reliable.

So far some things that seem to help are fish oil, turmeric capsules (also great for the liver) and an enzyme product called Inflamase I get from my Naturopath when I can afford it. It contains 100mg of Bromelin which is also supposed to have strong anti-inflammatory properties. I will research the enzyme you mentioned this weekend while I'm off. I want to stay off Prednisone if at all possible, I have two friends a little older than I am who have taken it for years for auto immune disorders and it has wrecked their health, yet neither one feels she can live without it.
How is your Liver Flushing going? I wonder if our chronic problems with inflammation is one factor that is contributing to all the stones both of us seem to continue to produce?- Re: Thanks Giz Giz

The reports I have been reading about this Serrapeptase sound like a dream come true. It is said to eat anything dead that does not belong in the blood. One woman had a 25 year old considerable jaw pain that was the result from a childhood injury on a playground. I think it took only about 2 weeks of this Serrapeptase to stop the pain completely when previously nothing else had worked.
This Serrapeptase is an enzyme from a silkworm that is designed to eat itself out of its larva shell and for this reason eats everything dead - amazing. It is also creditet with desolving blood clods, clean out plaque from arties, stop arthritis, clear up inflammations and the list goes on.
It says that it stops migraine/headaches on the theory that the symptoms are caused by an allergy reaction to carbohydrates. That is exactly what I have observed over the years; I can always count of the headaches to get much worse 4 days after eating carbohydrates. You can see why I am excited about this. I'll be sure to get some tomorrow.
I did # 61 last night with my cutomary 12 oz. of oil and surprise, surprise not 1 stone to be seen anywhere, not even a little one. There was only little specks of cholesterol mixed with a brown jellatin-like mucus and some floating specks. I will ask Andreas what he makes of that mucus, where he thinks is comes from.
There were also little yellow things that looked like floating lace. I believe that I started out with a very fatty liver and this may just be the last remnants of the fat deposits.
Oh yes, there were also yellow tiny grains that sank, maybe that is what is still accumulating in my upper back liver area that I can feel. I am counting on 2 more flushes to mop up and be done - yea!
I had been flushing weekly for the last 6 weeks because so much stuff was coming through since the ducts were mostly clear. There was a lot of the above descriptions in those weekly flushes, although there were stones also.
I feel the same as when I started the flushing routine. I hope that this Serrapeptase is going to solve my headaches and chronic fatigue and food allergies . Well, I am aiming high and why not.
After my liver has had time to recover from all this stress and tremendous toxic burden things will improve in that department too. This has been a bit of a long note, but sharing is so very helpful in our situation. Its been great for me too.
