Somehow those darn prescription drugs keep mysteriously "contaminating" supplements:
"Bodee LLC is conducting this recall after being informed by representatives of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that lab analysis by FDA of Zencore Tabs samples found the product contains potentially harmful, undeclared ingredients. FDA asserts that its chemical analysis revealed that one lot of Zencore Tabs contains aminotadalafil, an analog of tadalafil, the active ingredient of a FDA-approved drug used for Erectile Dysfunction (ED). FDA maintains Aminotadalafil is close in structure to tadalafil and is expected to possess a similar pharmacological and adverse event profile. Further, FDA declares another lot of Zencore Tabs contains sildenafil, the active ingredient of another FDA-approved drug used for ED, as well as sulfosildenafil and sulfohomosildenafil, both are analogs of sildenafil. All of these undeclared chemicals pose a threat to consumers because they may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Consumers with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates . ED is a common problem in men with these conditions, and consumers may seek these types of products to enhance sexual performance.

Kind of hard to avoid possible side effects and drug interactions when you don't know what drugs you're being given in the guise of "natural" products.

Perhaps the herb Epimedium sagittatum is the source of the "aminotadalafil".
The pharmaceutical companies can do this with most any herbal... they use herbs to come up with their drugs; it may be one way to slowly pull competing herbal products off the market and gain public support for Codex.

They can also make a synthetic version, and often do, since those are easily patentable. Either way, neither the synthetic version nor the isolated compound are natural or likely to be compatible with our bodies, because neither are found in that form in nature. In the synthetic version, we have a substance that our bodies have not naturally adapted to or encountered. In the isolated compound form, we have a single compound instead of the compound together with all the synergistic components found in the natural plant - which is how we encounter it in nature.
Nature works synergistically, just like the human body itself, where the total organism is much greater than the sum of the parts. Remove one key supporting compound and you have changed the effectiveness and compatibility of the entire substance. Similarly, a deficiency in one vital nutrient among a great many can cause other nutrients to be less effectively utilized in the human body, just as an impairment in one organ or system in the body can cause impairments in others and lead to poor overall health for the entire body.
Big Pharma's scientists either fail to realize that, or else don't care because only the unnatural synthetics and isolates are patentable and profitable. Which is no doubt why over 95% of all FDA approved drugs have side effects. And which fits right in with the great failing of mainstream medicine itself - treating the body as a collection of parts and only treating the part where a symptom manifests itself instead of treating the underlying causes and the whole body.

except for one example that I know of re' the use of Vitamin C.
In email correspondence with Dr Steve Hickey who co-wrote the book "Ascorbate: The Science of Vitamin C" with Dr Hillary Roberts, who told me the following story.....
"My sister has eisenmenger Syndrome (a hole in the heart condition) where she was not expected to live beyond the age of 24. She now lives in Germany after reaching the ripe old age of 43.
Her illness prevented her from holding a normal conversation because of extreme breathlessness; unable to walk more than a few yards without the same outcome; her lips were blue and her complexion was totally white.
I sent her a copy of my book where she followed the protocol outlined within it to the letter. This involved taking 24 grams of synthetic Vitamin C per day.
Within a 10 weeks she could walk 3 miles per day and hold a normal conversation without difficulty; her lips and complexion were now pink and she looked the picture of health.
A friend who had not seen her for several months noticed her shopping one day and was amazed at how well she looked. During the conversation she took another 5 of the large tablets of Vitamin C, and after being told what she was doing came the reply, "Are you sure that's a good idea..........you could make yourself ill"

I am not sure that I understand your question. Are you asking if a drug manufacturer or some agent of Big Pharma could claim contamination because similar compounds are found in a natural supplement to the synthetic or isolated compounds in the patented approved version, of course they could and would do it at the drop of a hat. Never mind that nature and the natural version of the compound was there first. All that matters is profits and no deed is too foul to protect their profits and marketplace, regardless of the cost to humanity.
One has but to look at how the FDA allows drugs to stay on the markets long after they are identified as proven killers. No better example can be found than how long it took to pull Vioxx and what is happening now with Avandia and Fosamax. The FDA's primary function is to insure profits and suppress competition for those they really serve - the corrupt World Pharma empire. Any beneficial actions on behalf of humanity are far too often either coincidental, cosmetic or as a result of exposure and public pressure that finally becomes too great to resist.
You know, when I write about the evils and failings of agencies, industries and mainstream medicine, I am really not condemning the rank and file workers in the FDA and other agencies, many of whom sincerly believe they are protecting the public, just as I am not condemning the hundreds of thousands of dedicated, caring and hard working doctors and medical professionals. It is those who mislead them and guide them that are corrupt. And it is those who have bought the souls of the misleaders who are beyond corrupt. They are truly evil.
Sadly, most people, including those in the FDA and other agencies and in the medical professions, are not even aware that such evil people exist, much less that they are being used as tools to control our lives and our health.

Dang, only several hundred to go and they might approach all the FDA approved drugs that have been recalled. Of course, natural supplements have no chance of every achieving even a tiny fraction of all the DEATHS caused by the approved drugs.
Once again we have the laughable spectacle of the FDA pulling or warning about a supplement because it is contaminated by dangerous medicines from drugs the FDA has approved.
And, as was so ably reported by fellow CureZone health advocate grzbear, it is quite possible that the source of the "similar" substances being found in many so-called contaminated supplements is actually the natural plant that the Big Pharma guys adulterated into a patentable form that could reap huge profits but was not naturally compatible with the human body.
The bottom line: further scurillous attempts to limit our access to natural herbal products under the guise of public safety to mask the real purpose of casting doubts on supplements in general and eliminating competition for their true lords and masters.
If the FDA, or some posters here on CureZone, gave a tinkers damn about our health and safety, then they would look at the 120,000 deaths each year caused by properly prescribed FDA approved medicine, instead of concentrating so much effort and propaganda on natural supplements.
If each approved drug death, side-effect or recall were treated with as much publicity and concern as the tiny handful among natural supplements, the products of Big Pharma would be almost non-existent. And the world would be a much safer and healthier place.
Keep serving 'em up. Everybody on the home team wants a chance at bat when you are on the mound.
