Thank you, Zoe.
I suppose it could be IC. At various times in my life I have felt some internal irritation.
However, I don't think IC irritation would disappear with a single bowl of brown rice. I suspect, in my case, that the problem lies in too much acidity and/or concentration of urine, perhaps some hormonal difficulties, and very likely some kinds of pressures, as you suggest.
Salt seems to play a role, even the 'good' salt...and maybe the salt/potassium balance. The copper/zinc balance may be at fault, too. If possible, I'd like these to be resolved automatically, perhaps by the salt bath described in the book, 'Water & Salt'.
So many factors may come into this, and the medical people don't make understanding any easier with unusual words. The public would be better off with terms they can easily understand.
I very much like your post in the Ask CureZone forum about slow and considered changes/cleanses as a path to well-being. Beautifully said! If I could I would have that printed at the top of the page. We may have a 'pill' or 'silver bullet' mindset, and I don't think our bodies work that way.
Some seem to be surprised that Humaworm, for example, is an on-going cleansing, preventative, and supportive protocol. Others think we must 'supplement'. Still others seem to think in terms of the 'quick fix - no more trouble'...MAKE the body do this or that.
I'm stuck with idea of taking small amounts of some natural substance, or do something differently, and feel the warmth of improvement that indicates it should be continued, in moderation. In other words, I am cautious to a fault.
If a pill can stop ovulation, for an example, I figure it isn't fit for human consumption. That's too strong for me and my loved ones, anyone, in my opinion.
I will certainly keep IC in mind, and I thank you for the links. We learn something more every day.
My best,
