Mrs Chang from www.sensiblehealth.com says we should not use Epsom Salt unless it is necessary as she understands E.S is harmful for the kidneys and causes some problems to the health.

I actually have been using Epsom Salt but just one tablespoon b4 I take the Oil+juice and that is all. Even this small amount is not recommended by Mrs Chang.
that is all all know and my experience as well.

Hulda Clark s recipe uses a lot of Epsom Salt which seems to be unnecessary as I have done many flushes without any Epsom Salt and they were successful.

Don't listen to those *orons. Your blood test will be fine and what a hell is he trying to see from that blood test????

What happened to you is that stones inside your liver started moving changing the positions, Those are the symptoms of it. What is the color of your Bowels, yellow/pale??
Start supplementing with malic acid and continue flashing. You are full of stones, same as me.

I have migraines & seizures and the ES does temporarily make me feel bad. Sometimes it will trigger a migraine or seizure or cause my arms & hands to tingle. I only take 1 teaspoon per dose. After the flush I make sure to drink plenty of fluids. HTH!

I think it was Southern Bell that posted some info on magnesium and how some folks may be deficient in it. I feel I probably could be, although never tested, as I can suffer from constipation even when doing everything else right - water, diet, etc., but Epsom Salts will help keep me more regular.

I sometimes wonder if one of the reasons I have felt so well after Liver Flushing (most of the time) is because of the additional magnesium and potassium from the several days prep (apple juice, etc.) and the epsoms the day of the flush.

I guess it just depends on your chemistry balances or lack thereof when you go into the flush.

Epsom Salts do not cause a chemical imbalance, they can cause dehydration and a flushing of electrolytes. The best way to deal with this is to replace them. Make a rehydrating drink and drink at least a half gallon of it the day after you flush. My version of the drink is 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (for potassium and magnesium, plus some sodium), 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of Sea Salt (sodium) and some kind of natural sweetener. Maple syrup, Sucanat or Blackstrap molasses all will sweeten the drink plus add additional minerals. Drink this down. Eating Watermelon when available also helps rehydrate and restore minerals (electrolytes). There is also an excellent product called EmergenC that replaces electrolyes and helps boost energy. I took it before and after flushing on my last flush and had none of the tiredness and weakness I often experience when I fail to rehydrate. Epsom Salt is not the enemy. It not only clears the colon, it also helps relax the bile ducts and makes flushing much easier and more thorough.

I would imagine that the doctor probably meant you had an electrolyte imbalance, since ES will remove sodium, potassium, etc, along with the water it draws to your intestine. The first successful flush I took waaay too much and I got pressure in the head and arms, dizziness, the "not enough salt" feeling. The "too much salt" feeling would be similar, but with tingling and a feeling like something is trying to suck the liquid out of your head and arms (eew!). I can't even take one tablespoon of the stuff without getting a lot of discomfort, but I always keep a few electolyte drinks around during the flush, I find about 24 ounces of Gator Aid smooths things out.

Potassium I found is real important, as it helps your kidneys to regulate your electrolyte levels.

should I be fasting after a flush? I used Dr Clarks recipe. I don't want to flush again right now until this has stopped but I want to avoid it next time.

I have been really ill for over a year and the only thing that has helped is flushing my liver. Well I have been flabber gasted! as to the wonder of flushing. The fact that noone has heard of it. I have to tell you I'm from Liverpool, England. I don't have to take 2 omeprazole every day just so I can eat. I was diagnosed with IBS and they offerd me more drugs. Saying they might work. So I was able to say NO THANKS I'm better now (almost)
I told the specalist about the flush. She said mmmm- interesting!
I looked at the people in the waiting room as I left and I thought .Well you know what I thought. If only the medical people would look at this (as a cure)!!!!
My other Dr has written a paper on the flushing I have done!
But didn't analise the stones.

I will look for the supplements that was recomended
Any information about the toxins would be great.
