my BF daughter still wakes up throughout the night. is she not satisfied? She slept longer when she was younger!!! If she goes to bed at 9, she is up at 11:30 to eat again, then again at 2am...usually every 2 to 3 hours. i give her a bath to calm her down, and she still wakes up screaming as if she had a bad dream and i nurse her and she goes right back to sleep...Could it be my diet or is she ready for other foods and if so what do i start her on? she has four bottom teeth and her two top teeth are almost in, is it because she is teething?????HELP!!! I wanted to give her breastmilk as long as possible, but is it time to supplement?

MoreThis is a reply to # 941,620thanks soooo much for the information and I will look into some of the older forums for more insight...I am a vegatarian and do plan on feeding my baby the same way I eat. When I had my other two children my way of life was so very different, my youngest prior to my baby is 13 years old, and I have since changed my eating habits...I was under the impression that she would be fine with just breastmilk until she is a year old, apparently not, I guess all children are different and I should use my descretion....Thanks again!

MoreThis is a reply to # 941,876Thanks again for the informaion. I hope after her top teeth come in I can get at least 6 straight hours of sleep. I tried feeding her and she has yet to sleep straight through as of yet..maybe she is going through a growth spurt.....

This is a reply to # 941,574I kind of think this. I remember a lady complained like that about her son doing the same thing. When they did tests on him they found he had vitamin deficiencies. She had been breastfeeding him. Why don't you find a powdered supplement to mix in her milk that has alot of vitamins and minerals in it. This should work. She could also have an ear infection too.

This is a reply to # 944,755thanks..that is very interesting...I will get her some vitamins...also. I have noticed here lately that she scratches the same ear all the time, maybe it is bothereing her... I mean she is fine during the day..I will check that out also.
