Here's photos of the moles 1 week after HEAVILY painting the moles with Lugol's. They're scabbed up, and the skin around is dry and scaley. Please note, up to two days ago, several were red and swollen (range of swelling indicated by the white circle I've drawn in). Sorry, some of the pics are blurry, since I couldn't handle the camera well myself. For same reason, I couldn't get pics of the moles from mid-back up. I'm not going to put the pics from the back here now, since the photo quality is so bad, it's a waste of time to show. (I've a few really large ones there which would have been great to show, since they're still red and swollen ... maybe I can get someone to help out this weekend with pics of those.)
I've numbered each mole, so in the future you can compare.
Ear lobe:
This pic is of my ear lobe which has two moles (the ear is pierced, so there is a hole below the two moles). The moles have scabbed some, and have had peeling skin. I haven't painted quite as aggressively as I have with my arms, legs and back, since it's in the face area. It did get swollen and red, like I've gotten in the past with cheap earrings (I can't wear less than high quality gold). These two moles will take a lot more painting, since they're 3/16" or more across and raised about 3/16".
Right forearm:
There are three larger moles I'm working on here. #1 and #3 were flat moles (#3 measured 3/16" across). I think once it's fully healed it may be gone. Hard to tell with the scabbing right now. #2 was a raised one, measuring 3/16" across and was raised maybe 1/16"); it also swelled up and was an angry red up until 2 days ago. All swelling is gone now. (Please note, the other blemishes are just red spots remaining from KP bumps that are now gone from doing oil pulling, and some freckles. I plan on painting the forearm with diluted
Lugol's once the moles are healed, to see if it gets rid of the red from the KP.)
Left forearm:
Not working on any moles here, but it's a good pic of the KP. Lots of red spots, but the bumps are gone. You can't see the arm texture from the photo, so will have to take my word that the arm is totally smooth, no more KP bumps.
Left cheek jaw area:
I'm not focusing on painting these two much right now, since they're on the face. I'm taking things slow with the face, since I don't want heavy scabbing there. These two you may therefore be able to see the progress as I go along. Note: #6 is a mole that the doctor burned off when I was a teen, he just didn't get it all. It's 1/4" across, and had originally been 1/8" or more raised, and was a mottled color. #7 is just under the jaw bone and is about 1/8" across.
Right calf:
These two were raised, mottled moles like the one on my cheek/jaw. #4 was the smaller of the two, about 3/16" across, maybe 1/16" raised. I'm thinking this one is probably completely gone, once the scab falls off. #5 was 5/16" across its widest part, and was 1/8" raised. This one will probably take more painting once it's healed up. #5 did swell up quite a bit and was angry red up until two days ago, but wasn't as bad as #2 on my arm. (I did have a small mottled one on the left calf, which is definitely gone, but my pic just didn't turn out. All that's remaining of it is red healing skin, and some flaky skin.)
Hope this helps!
