I first discovered OPing from the postings at the Iodine supplementation site and read about it for about a month before I actually tried it. I started OPing July 8th (approx. 4 weeks ago) with coconut oil because that’s what I had on hand. Nothing miraculous happened. The angels didn’t sing, the skies didn’t open up, I didn’t feel like ripping through the house whistling and mopping floors or running the vacuum cleaner (Sigh! This place is a pig stye, but then I digress.) I didn’t run out and mow the lawn or wash my car. But … I felt a quiet peace. Something I can’t quite describe. You know when you hear that still, small voice and you know you’ve been spoken to by someone or something outside yourself. I know, some of you probably think I’ve gone over the edge and you don’t even know me, but that’s the best way I know to describe it. At the very least, my teeth felt very clean and my gums were soothed.

My 78 year old mother and I went to the health food store and purchased a bottle of sunflower oil and sesame oil. I took the sesame and she took the sunflower and we each pulled on those for 2 weeks.

Nothing noticeable happened to either of us other than we wanted to keep doing it. Then about a week ago, I had an itch at the bottom of my foot. I reached down to scratch it and noticed that the huge walnut sized knots that had been at the bottom of my foot were now the size of marbles (they are now the size of very small peas and I have to dig to feel them). These were painful and ached, especially when I’d walked on them for a while. I’d been to the doctor about them twice. BTW – she said they were basically “nothing,” she had them too and there was nothing to be done about them. Just live with them. Thanks for nutin’ Doc! My mother had them too.

I called my mother and she checked her foot and she couldn’t find them either. She also had a huge bone spur on her heel that she’d had surgically removed a couple of years ago that had come back bigger and more painful than ever. That was almost completely gone. We both had sharp knotty things on our wrists (gangloids, ganglies something like that) that hurt and ached that the doctor also has on her own wrists and said to just live with. These were also gone.

Plus, something else that’s kind of stunning to me … my eyes are turning back blue. My mother said that when I was growing up people would comment that I had the most incredibly blue eyes they’d ever seen. Gradually over the years, my eyes turned green and before I started all this they were the color of grass … very green. While green is a pretty color and striking in its own right, I knew I was toxic to the max from years of medications (I’ve been diagnosed with Lupus) and crappy eating habits. Last night I noticed they were different in the bathroom mirror, but I was too sleepy to really look. This morning while I was OPing, I sat down with a flashlight and a 15X mirror and looked. Ever so slightly around the outer edges my eyes are blue … a clear beautiful blue. Now, I’m not an iridologist and don’t know how it’s supposed to happen from the inside out or outside in or just a gradual overall change as the body gets “cleaner” but I’m just reporting what’s happening to me. My eyes are a much lighter green with blue around the edges and blue kind of sprinkled throughout the eye (I looked again to make sure).

My younger sister has had all of the above and has an appointment to see the doctor about the big knots in her feet. We called her last night to tell her about OPing (she is usually skeptical about alternatives to anything beyond what the doctor says and takes lots of drugs). She said, “Are ya’ll foolin’ me?” We’re from Texas so we say “ya’ll” a lot. We assured her we were not. I don’t know if we convinced her, but we certainly got her attention.

We’ve also noticed smoother heels, smoother skin overall, typical things others have reported. I’ve also felt a calmness, ever so slightly, that I don’t think I can adequately describe. Sounds airy fairy – doesn’t it?

Okay, also to be fair to other things we are doing too – We’ve done the humaworm parasite cleanse, started a couple of drops of Lugol’s Iodine gradually increasing each week and have been doing bio-identical hormones for about 7 months now and plan to start LBB (colon cleanse) when we get it in the mail. So, I’m sure all of that is having a positive effect too, but I think OPing is probably the most dramatic overall.

Oh and I’m not a great one to follow the “rules” and I know it’s recommended to do each oil for a couple of weeks since each oil does different things, but other than the sesame for 2 weeks, I’ve been switching around. Here’s what I’ve pulled with: Sesame, sunflower, coconut (VCO), almond, grapeseed, walnut. I’ve put a drop of oil of oregano in the pulls sometimes and sometimes pulled alone. I’ve put a drop or two of 35% H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) for whitening a couple of times too. I’ve pulled as much as 3 times in a day – back to back or spaced throughout the day. I’ve pulled for 10 minutes and then another 10 and at times I got busy and pulled for 35 minutes. And a couple of days I didn’t pull at all because it just wasn’t possible. As you can see, I’m all over the place except for the fact that I’m pulling (almost) every single day. Each day I go in and “ask” which oil I should pull with, "listen" for a second and then pick one. Not exactly scientific for sure …

I’m sorry this is so long, but I had a gazillion questions when I first started OPing and thought this might help newbies who might have as many questions as I had.
