That's how my milk looked. Don't fear - it will separate. There are curds in there, even though it may not look like it. It's only after you strain it through fabric that you will find the curds & whey.
Now, whether you actually want to eat it or not afterward is another question :P I've been find with eating the curds mixed with honey, but my husband thought it was disgusting. I also like the raw Organic Pastures butter I got, and I've talked to a number of people who can't stand the flavors (the flavors change depending on which batch of butter you get, what time of year...).
