first you must learn how to properly eliminate. this is done by squatting. nature has provided us with the best way to eliminate and it is done naturally. everyone knows the famous stance a dog takes when it has solid business. we too have a stance which makes evacuation optimal and with less stress on the machinery. it is done while on your feet. it is called squatting. check out japanese toilets. i have been squatting for a few months now and i will never go back. sitting on a toilet is as unnatural as it gets and can do damage over time. most of the world squats, and has since before memory.

Iodine to work from one end to the other to condition the GI tract. iodinated oil would be a good ointment to supplement for hemmoroids. straight
Lugols is not recommended anywhere. it is not called a strong solution for nothing.
lastly, the cold sitz bath is another way to correct this condition.
of course, not eating the kind of food that makes you strain has a lot to do with how you got this condition and how to steer clear of this plague of biblical proportions.
