I notice that if I drop my saturated fats down too low,I will begin to have some neurotic type sysmptoms;anxitety,irritability,nervousness,insomnia,self-conciousness.As well as some physical ones,rashes,tightness,aches/pains,dry skin, constipation. With something like the WD it would be easy to drop them too low(fats) because of only eating once a day,and thus causing the symptoms to increase even quicker.
I ate some fatty beef ribs yesterday night, real fatty,as well as some chili later on.I noticed that almost immediatly I was calmed down and I felt a fullness in my gut like a comforting feeling,I then slept 7 hours straight without any issues or interuptions. This is my first fatty meal in a long time, usualy I do eat the trimmings on my steaks and some olive oil it's fried in or maybe some eggs (which I rarely eat now) but it dosen't seem to be enough.I don't respond to olive oil or butter as well,I seem to react best to animal fats, beef in paticular, then pork fats, chicken.Fish oils being low on the list as well as olive, butter and such. Also,it helps if I cook the fats while keeping them as 'light and fluffy' as possible as opposed to really hard and overcooked,it tastes better and makes me feel better as well as avoiding any carcinigenic toxins that may arise from eating burnt fats.
I didn't lower my fat intake on purpose,I just wasn't aware it was getting soo low.I upped my veggies/fiber,dropped my protein by half but accidently dropped fats almost completly off the map!Doh! I will slowly add them back into my diet proportionatly and gauge the results...I have a good feeling that this is the missing link in my diet.I remember not too long ago on a high fat/moderate protein diet I was really lean and muscular as well as in perfect physical health, maybe it's time to revert back to that type of diet ratio ...
okay,that's all..enough flapping my gums!!!
