You gonna love the details of sitz bathing!!!!
First, you take a HOT tub bath, it's even recommended that you drink a hot drink while in there, about a
quart of it, work up a good sweat, spend 45 mins to an hour as fully submerged as possible. Then wrap head and shoulders in a beach towel or 2 or a blanket to stay warm, sit on the side of the tub or on a stool in the tub and splash COLD water (about 55 degrees) on tummy, genitles and anus ... toxins go to the coldest point in the body ... this is retraining the lymph system to take the toxins down and out thru the kidneys and bowels. This is suppose to be done for 15 mins for optimal effect ... *GRIN* I'm working up to it slowly. This sounds like torture of some sort, I think you'll be amazed at the great feeling you get. I'm one that has experienced a buzzing sensation in my lower abdomen from sitz bathing that is quite pleasurable.
How often? Everytime you bathe is a grand idea.
