thx, GRZ, I will check out those brands. I've actually got a good local discount health food store that so far beats most prices, and no shipping, so I usually check there first.
Yeah, I've tried ACV, I still take it, though I'm not sure what it's doing for me. I usually do it with water first thing in the AM, and then occasionally throughout the day. I've tried it also right before, during and after meals, not much difference. Still with the bloating and gas. I think i just have a serious gut imbalance and the severity of the bloating seems to cycle. My dad actually told me I always had excessively stinky diapers, and who knows, I might have been born with a bug that I'm still carrying. I've tried all different probiotics, make my own kefir and take that off and on, tho I don't have access to raw milk, so have to use pasturized. Tried cultured veggies, my own and store bought, but they actually make it worse. Carbs are the worst offenders, of course, and I know I've got candida. I tend toward constipation and no matter how much fiber i eat, I have to rotate through different herbal products to keep things moving - Barefoot's Lower bowel balane, aloe, unicity's nature's tea, natural calm magnesium, etc.... Lately I'm trying a tablespoon or two of ground golden flax seed in water, but it seems like what works for many people most of the time doesn't work for me. I don't know, maybe I'm an alien species.... LOL! My biggest problem by far is headaches, as far back as I can remember, and if I could just get rid of those, I'd be overjoyed. Seems genetic, though, so I probably shouldn't get my hopes up. I've started checking my PH, and the only time I've seen it go over 6.0 was when I was drinking a fair amount of something called "alkaline water" that supposedly has a PH of 10 that I picked up at the health food store. I got a solid 6.5... better than 6.0 I guess. Anyway, sorry about all these details, I do appreciate your suggestions. :)
