I have not had nearly the experience that some of you all have had with this yeast problem, but have over the last couple of months read everything I could find on the topic and have a few thoughts and questions: Please tell me what you think and if I am wrong as the diet and this die off is keeping me from working.
We know Biotin prevents yeast from multiplying.
We know that
Iodine kills yeast.
We know that onion and garlic kill yeast.
We know that
Sugar and yeast are the worst at multiplying yeast.
WE know that simple carboyhydrates contribute to yeast multiplication.
We know that probiotics help overocme yeast.
Would it not make sense to take
Sugar and simple carbs out of the diet, add Iodine, onion and garlic, a probiotic, and limit complex carbs to 60 or less a day and get rid of the yeast-more slowly perhaps, but certainly healthier. I am asking because I was hospitalied in March with severe diarrhea and dehydration due to three rounds of Augmentin. My intestines have not yet fully healed and I can take almost no medicines (I do take a probiotic without problems) and am scared to death of
Grapefruit-Seed-Extract and some of other recommendations-for example,
Olive-Oil and any fats or oils send me running to the bathroom and even Physlim causes colon spasms. Any suggestions?
