Take vitamin C, and repeat it because it doesn't stay in the body long, try repeating in 3 to 4 hours.
Take a soaking bath-helps remove toxins and let the body heal. If you are not itchy make it a hot bath, and if you can add Epsom Salts to the water. Soak up to an hour if you can.
Massage from a professional or a friend. Helps the body deal with "toxins" (your allergens).
Take baking soda 1/2 tsp in some water and then chased with some warm water. This seems to help many types of reactions.
Find a calm happy place to wait it out. Do what ever helps you relax(read, walk, garden,create...).

One last thought-when you are not reacting and you can think clearly make yourself a list of things to do when you are allergic.

This is a reply to # 895,912Thank you for your response. I have been taking baking soda baths and Epsom Salt baths every other day. Also taking C. I'll try a b.soda drink.
I have been replacing my Amalgams over this last month and I think my outbreak might be from that. It's just that I have been having symptoms for the last two weeks and it's getting old, ya know.
I broke down and took some benedryl the last couple of days to take the edge off and I think that helped. I also picked up some IBC from natures sunshine, with some probiotics. I am taking iodine/C/selenium and daily flax oil.
I think I'll concentrate on cleansing the liver like shark says and try to keep things "moving" out. My skin is not so angry today so hopefully I am on the recovery side.

Since you normally take Vit C are you taking it more often when you have a reaction? I can take 2 or 3 grams a dose, but when I have reactions I take 2 or 3 every 3 hours (or as I remember).
And of course I'm thinking you took more of it and more often the day(s) after your dental session for removal. Vitamin C is really great for recovery after Amalgam replacement. I actually went for a Vit C IV after each session and it really helped. I noticed your post in the Amalgam Forum but no one answered. I was told to do Vitamin C and glutathione, as well as the Charcoal. The glutathione is for liver support in detoxing. I also take glutathione now when I have a really bad reaction and it seems to help.

Ascorbic acid has many important functions. It is a powerful oxidizer and when given in massive amounts; that is, 50 grams to 150 grams, intravenously, for certain pathological conditions, and "run in" as fast as 20 Gauge needle will allow, it acts as a "Flash Oxidizer,"[4] often correcting the pathology within minutes. Ascorbic acid is also a powerful reducing agent. Its neutralizing action on certain toxins, exotoxins, virus infections, endotoxins and histamine is in direct proportion to the amount of the lethal factor involved and the amount of ascorbic acid given. At times it is necessary to use ascorbic acid intramuscularly. It should always be used orally, when possible, along with the needle.
